Starting Wednesday January 15th we will begin rehearsals for Newsies Jr! Rehearsals will run till April 23rd with a performance on April 24th. Rehearsals will be from 4:30 to 6:00 every Wednesdays. 3rd to 10th grade are invited to join. The instructors are Mrs. Boyd, Ms. Nicole, and Ms. Melissa. This class is a fun and interactive way to learn about the art of storytelling through singing, dancing, and acting. As we work together to put on a production we will learn about improv, character development, diction, projection, movement, and stage presence. Price is $230 per performer.

Starting January 21st through March 11th, we will be meeting every Tuesday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The instructors running this class are Mrs. Boyd and Ms. Nicole. This class is a great opportunity for experienced and new performers to learn about the expansive art of acting. This will include lessons on puppetry, improv, and movement. We will also look closer into techniques used for acting like character development, story telling, and much more. Come pla games, try out different forms of acting, and learn about important pieces of theater. Price is $120 student.

Starting February 6th through March 13th, join us every Thursday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The instructor running this class is Mrs. Boyd. This a fun class created to benefit improved mood, sense of initiative, control and accomplishment, and a sense of focus. Come learn about drumming and at the same time increase self confidence and have a sense of social connectedness. Price is $90 per student.

2 Day Workshop

On February 28th and March 7th from 2:15 to 3:30 p.m. come join instructor Ms. Melissa Kaiser. Ages 7 to 14 invited to join. Come see a different side to theater as we learn the important art of creating props for shows. Each student gets to apply what they learned by making props that will be used by fellow students for the stage combat workshop. Cost is $35 with a $5 discount for those who sign up for both the “Trash to Treasure” workshop and the Stage Combat Workshop.

2 Day Workshop

On March 28th and April 4th from 2:15 to 3:30 join instructors Ms. Nicole Kaiser and Ms. Melissa Kaiser. Ages 7 to 14 invited to join. This is a workshop that gives every student the opportunity to learn how something that is always very realistic for the audience can be perfectly safe on stage. Stage Combat is a workshop meant to learn about how to block, move, and choreograph a “fight” that is fun and safe. Price is $30 with a $5 discount for those who sign up for both the “Trash to Treasure” Workshop and the Stage Combat Workshop.

2 Day Workshop

On April 11th and April 18th from 2:15 to 3:30 p.m. join instructor Ms. Nicole Kaiser. Ages 7 to 14 invited to join. Come learn about the more humorous sides of acting. We will be learning about improv and the art of clowning through games, exercises, and techniques. Come ready to laugh and have fun while learning about an important side to performing. Price is $30
