Welcome to Rising Star Performing Arts Academy! As young performers come through our program we foster storytelling skills through many mediums, but the most important story to tell is one of connection. A soloist singing alone does not make a choir; one actor on a stage cannot tell everyone’s story; one guitar cannot make the harmonies of the band. Here at Rising Star our mission is to build confidence through community. We’ve found the best way to help each performer achieve confidence is by making sure they feel supported by their fellow peers, leaders, and every part of their community.

With confidence and community each performer is set on a path of growth. With communication, positive encouragement, and support through teaching how to tell a story we engage with each individual’s journey and their goals. Learning something new should be an exciting experience, which is why at Rising Star we focus on progression, not perfection. We have many different performers who will have different goals and interests. To meet those goals and encourage those interests we build in many different opportunities with our camps, workshops, and productions.
